传闻鸡翅（Buffalo Wing）是在1964年冬天的一个夜晚在纽约水牛城里诞生的。在这之前，西人都将鸡翅当成垃圾。一间叫做Anchor Bar的店主Teressa Bellissimo尝试将鸡翅油炸，然后涂上辣椒酱，从此泡吧必点的鸡翅就诞生了。
